Press the communities button on the bottom navigation menu, the icon looks like a group of three people standing together. It’s located to the left of the chat icon.
Navigate to the “create” tab in the top right-hand corner of the screen, underneath the notification bell.
Choose a name for your community.
Choose a cover photo relevant to what the community is about.
Type out a description for your community. Make it engaging to draw in interested users.
Choose a topic, for example, if it is a community about Paris, you could select “Cities” as your topic.
Slide to on/green if you would like to be a content moderator for your community. If you switch the slider to yes, you will have to review each post submitted to the community and decide whether it gets shared on the community.
Decide upon your community visibility. Public means anyone can join and post to your community. Private means that the community will show up in search and suggested, but users must request access. Exclusive communities will not show up in search and users must be invited my members.
